Practicing good manners and protocol is one way we love our neighbors as ourselves. Our Upper School students are trained to practice Christ-like love to others in the form of etiquette and good manners and attire. High school students enjoy an annual “Protocol” event at a cultural event such as a stage performance of “Great Expectations” or a cruise on the Willamette River aboard the Sternwheeler or a dinner in a formal restaurant. Students dress up for a night out with friends, engaging with one another outside of the classroom. The lesson learned with Protocol of considering others as better than yourself are applicable to everyday life situations present and future, and help to build community among our student body.
