Putting up signs at the new propertyThe Cedar Tree Facility Committee is grateful in announcing that the Clark County Planning department and the County Hearing Examiner approved our Conditional Use Permit on September 5th, 2007. This marks the end of our four year property search, and provides Cedar Tree with 15 acres of beautiful land minutes from I-5 in the southeast corner of Ridgefield, WA. The flat, tree-lined property, will provide Cedar Tree with the opportunity to work out its mission in a more stable and sustainable location and facility. It is the Committee's goal that Cedar Tree will construct a paved road, parking lot, septic system, and provide power and water service to the site during the Spring of 2008. This will provide the necessary foundation to move the 8 year-old school to the site in 2008.

The Development Committee will be working with the Board in seeking funds to finance this $1,200,000 investment. Thankfully, over $400,000 has already been raised. If you have questions about the project or how to support its development, please contact the school at 360.574.0047.
